Ingo Johannsen is a researcher, engineer and media artist. He worked several years in the automotive industry as a project manager as well as a founding consultant and lecturer for product development, technical rights, creative techniques, quality and risk-analyses. During his career, he has completed numerous stays abroad. He volunteers as a mentor for students at the Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT).
Ingo Johannsen is a member of the interdisciplinary graduate program “Art and Technology” of the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) and therefore associated with the Hamburg University of Technology. In his scientific work, he deals with sensors, nano structures and lightweight materials. Within his interdisciplinary projects he combines various aspects of art, culture and technology.
